What this Privacy Policy Covers
This Privacy Policy covers how we treat Personal Data that we gather when you access or use our Services. “Personal Data” means any information that identifies or relates to a particular individual and also includes information referred to as “personally identifiable information” or “personal information” under applicable data privacy laws, rules or regulations. This Privacy Policy does not cover the practices of companies we don’t own or control (such as social media data providers or third-party agencies, organizations or companies). We may also utilize third party services to collect usage information.
ii) Information From Cookies. Socialprofiler.com uses cookies, or small text files stored on your computer, to store data about your visits to our website. Further information about the cookies we use is available at privacy@socialprofiler.com.
iii) Account Information. We collect information that you provide in creating an account at Socialprofiler.com. This may include information such as your name, email address, or phone number and payment data. We also collect passwords and similar security information used for authentication and account access.
iv) Search History. We retain a history of the searches you conduct on Socialprofiler’s products.
v) Submissions, Posts, and Uploads. We collect information from you when you provide, post, or upload it to Socialprofiler, such as when you fill out a form (e.g., a request to contact you) or respond to a survey. If you opt to import your call log or address book, we receive your call log or contacts. Certain features of our products permit you to enter Personal Data to access your accounts with third-party websites. In some instances, this information is not stored by Socialprofiler.
vi) Manually Imported Contact Information. We collect contact information about you when others import or sync their contacts with Socialprofiler products.
vii) Manually Entered Login Credentials. Certain features of Socialprofiler.com must store your login credentials for other websites or services to function. For example, you may choose to provide your third-party login credentials to syndicate private content from third-party social networks and websites. Under these circumstances, your third-party login credentials will be stored only so long as you continue to enable private content syndication from these third-party social networks and websites. Should you terminate your use of the syndication tool, this information will be deleted within a reasonable period of time following the termination. Your third-party login credentials are hashed and stored with the strictest security standards.

Service Providers. We may use analytics service providers to analyze how you interact and engage with the Services, or third parties may help us provide you with customer support. We also receive information about you from some of our service providers who assist us with marketing or promotional services related to how you interact with our websites, applications, products, Services, advertisements or communications.

Social networks analyzed to the Services. If you provide your social network account credentials to us or otherwise sign in to the Services through a third-party site or service, some content and/or information in those accounts may be transmitted into your account with us.

Third-party data sources. We have access to information on social media platforms. Social media users who do not want their data processed by Socialprofiler can make their account or posts private or, to the extent applicable, remove Socialprofiler and its representatives from their followers.

Social media users who do not want their data processed by Socialprofiler can make their account or posts private and, to the extent applicable, remove Socialprofiler and its representatives from their followers.

We do not verify and cannot guarantee the accuracy of Public Information.

Personal information, such as information that you provide to Socialprofiler or information about your use of Socialprofiler is not part of the Public Information available to other users through the Socialprofiler or through our business partners or resellers.

3. Legal Obligations
We may share any Personal Data that we collect with relevant third parties in conjunction with any of the activities set forth under “Meeting Legal Requirements and Enforcing Legal Terms” in the “How We Use Your Personal Data” section.
We may be required, upon receipt of a court order or equivalent, to release the information in civil or criminal litigation, or as otherwise required by law, to disclose information regarding a consumer to law enforcement agencies. Carrying out other legal obligations stated when collecting your Personal Data or as otherwise set forth in applicable data privacy laws, such as the California Consumer Privacy Act (the “CCPA”).
4. Business Transfers
All Personal Data may be transferred to a third party if we undergo a merger, acquisition, bankruptcy or other transaction in which that third party assumes control of our business (in whole or in part). Should any of these events occur, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you before your information becomes subject to different privacy and security policies and practices.
We do not send consumer information outside of the United States for any purpose other than to deliver a report to an end user. Of course, if information is sought from outside of the United States, the information is gathered in that country and then transmitted to us here in the United States where it is treated as any other consumer information.
Tracking Tools, Advertising, and Opt-Out
The Services use cookies and similar technologies which are small text files that have been placed on your device by websites you visit (“Cookies”). Cookies are used to make websites and other applications work, or work more efficiently, and help them remember certain information and recognize your internet browser. Cookies may last until you close your browser (“session” cookies) or over repeat visits (“persistent” cookies).

Certain content and features in our Services depend on cookies to function. For example, authentication cookies are used to identify and recognize registered users and to enable them to gain access to requested content or features. If you choose to block cookies, you cannot sign in or use certain content or features. If you choose to delete cookies, any settings and preferences dependent on those cookies will be lost.
Use of Web Beacons and Other Technologies
Some of the applications and electronic communications on our Site contain electronic tags known as web beacons, gifs or pixel tags, unique identifiers and similar technologies that help deliver cookies, measure online activity, provide more relevant advertising, or analyze the effectiveness of our promotional campaigns or other operations.
Data Security and Retention
We seek to protect your Personal Data from unauthorized access, use and disclosure using appropriate physical, technical, organizational and administrative security measures based on the type of Personal Data and how we are processing that data. We store information in paper-based files or electronic records in secure databases in the U.S. (including trusted third-party storage providers). We take reasonable steps to protect your Personal Data from misuse, interference and loss and from unauthorized access, modification or disclosure. We maintain physical security over any paper and electronic data storage at our premises. We also maintain computer and network security; for example, we use firewalls (security measures for the Internet) and other security systems such as user identifiers and passwords to control access to our computer systems. The Services use industry standard Transport Layer Security (TLS) technology to allow for the encryption of Personal Data you provide to us.
You should also help protect your data by appropriately selecting and protecting your password and/or other sign-on mechanism; limiting access to your computer or device and browser; and signing off after you have finished accessing your account. Although we work to protect the security of your account and other data that we hold in our records, please be aware that no method of transmitting data over the Internet or storing data is completely secure.
Socialprofiler maintains the following security measures among others to protect a consumer’s Personal Data:

Access to confidential consumer information is limited within Socialprofiler to those who have a need to know the information: obtaining and transmitting information on the consumer or those dealing with a consumer request for information or consumer disputes.

Access to Socialprofiler’s computer terminals, file cabinets, fax machines, trash bins, desktops, etc. are secure from unauthorized access. Information is stored on third party computers which meet or exceed these standards.

Socialprofiler maintains a secure network to safeguard consumer information from internal and external threats.

Any backup data is maintained in an encrypted form.

Access by users over the internet requires a confidential user name and alpha/numeric password.

Socialprofiler maintains records on each request for information and identifies each user who requested information on a consumer.

Employees are prohibited from “browsing” files or databases without a business justification.

Employees are not allowed to order reports on themselves, family, friends or associates without approval of management.

Destruction of consumer information follows the federal regulatory requirements that the information be unreadable upon disposal.
We retain Personal Data about you for as long as you have an open account with us or as otherwise necessary to provide you with our Services or to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy. In some instances we retain Personal Data for longer, if doing so is necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes or collect fees owed, or is otherwise permitted or required by applicable law, rule or regulation. We may further retain information in an anonymous or aggregated form where that information could not be used by us or a third party to identify you personally.
Personal Data of Children

Our site is directed to people who are at least 18 years old. Socialprofiler does not knowingly collect Personal Data from anyone under the age of 18. If you are aware that Socialprofiler has collected Personal Data from someone under the age of 18, please alert Socialprofiler at privacy@Socialprofiler.com and the information will be removed from Socialprofiler’s systems as soon as is reasonably possible. This policy regarding collection of data from children exceeds the requirements of the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act.

Socialprofiler does not knowingly aggregate or provide Public Information about people under the age of 18. Socialprofiler’s search may return Public Information about children between the ages of 13 and 18 because this Public Information originates from third-party social networking sites and websites that permit children who are 13 years and older to create public profiles. To remove any Socialprofiler listing, including a listing that contains information about a person under the age of 18, please use the Remove A Listing tool at https://Socialprofiler.com/optout.
Removal of Your Personal Data
To request that Public Information about you be removed from public listings on Socialprofiler.com, please use the Remove A Public Listing tool https://socialprofiler.com/optout. This page also contains information about alternate ways to submit a request for the removal of public listings. This process is only intended to remove listings available to the general public on Socialprofiler.com, does not apply to listings available to customers of other Socialprofiler products, does not apply to information collected, processed, sold, or disclosed under certain federal laws such as the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act that are excluded from the scope of state privacy laws, and cannot remove the information from the third-party public sources, such as phone books, web listings or social networks.
Socialprofiler reserves the right to disclose Public Information that you have requested be removed to third parties, without notice to you, if required by law, or if Socialprofiler has a good faith belief that disclosure is necessary to (i) act in an emergency to protect someone’s safety; (ii) comply with legal process; or (iii) protect and defend Socialprofiler’s rights or property. Socialprofiler also reserves the right to transfer Public Information (including Public Information that you have requested by removed) to any successor-in-interest to the Socialprofiler’s business. Socialprofiler reserves the right to deny or reverse a request for the removal of public listings if Socailprofiler believes such request was made in a manner that does not comply with its Terms of Use or other policies.
California Resident Rights Under the CCPA
If you are a California resident, you have the rights set forth in this section. Please see the “Exercising Your Rights” section below for instructions regarding how to exercise these rights. We may process Personal Data of our customers’ end users or employees in connection with our provision of certain services to our customers. If we are processing your Personal Data as a service provider, you should contact the entity that collected your Personal Data in the first instance to address your rights with respect to such data.
If there are any conflicts between this section and any other provision of this Privacy Policy and you are a California resident, the portion that is more protective of Personal Data shall control to the extent of such conflict. Access: You have the right to request, twice during a twelve-month period, certain information about our collection and use of your Personal Data over the past 12 months. In response, we will provide you with the following information:

If we have disclosed your Personal Data to any third parties for a business purpose over the past 12 months, we will identify the categories of Personal Data shared with each category of third-party recipient. If we have sold your Personal Data over the past 12 months, we will identify the categories of Personal Data sold to each category of third-party recipient.
Please note that Socialprofiler is not required to retain any Personal Data about you that was collected for a single one-time transaction if, in the ordinary course of business, that information was not retained. Further, Socialprofiler is not required to re-identify or otherwise link any data that, in the ordinary course of business, is not maintained in a manner that would be considered Personal Data.
Deletion: Subject to certain exceptions set forth below, you have the right to request that we delete the Personal Data that we have collected about you and direct any service providers to delete your Personal Data from their records.
We may choose not to delete your Personal Data if it is necessary to:

Complete the transaction for which the Personal Data was collected, fulfill the terms of a written warranty or product recall conducted in accordance with federal law, provide a good or service requested by you, or reasonably anticipated within the context of our ongoing business relationship with you, or otherwise perform an agreement between you and us.

Detect security incidents, protect against malicious, deceptive, fraudulent, or illegal activity; or prosecute those responsible for that activity.

Debug to identify and repair errors that impair existing intended functionality.

Exercise free speech, ensure the right of another consumer to exercise his or her right of free speech, or exercise another right provided for by law.

Comply with the California Electronic Communications Privacy Act.

Engage in public or peer-reviewed scientific, historical, or statistical research in the public interest that adheres to all other applicable ethics and privacy laws, when our deletion of the information is likely to render impossible or seriously impair the achievement of such research, provided we have obtained your informed consent.

Enable solely internal uses that are reasonably aligned with your expectations based on your relationship with us

Comply with an existing legal obligation.

Otherwise use your Personal Data, internally, in a lawful manner that is compatible with the context in which you provided the information.
Exercising Your Rights: To exercise the rights described above, you must send us a request that (1) provides sufficient information to allow us to verify that you are the person about whom we have collected Personal Data, and (2) describes your request in sufficient detail to allow us to understand, evaluate and respond to it. Each request that meets both of these criteria will be considered a “Valid Request.” We may not respond to requests that do not meet these criteria. We will only use Personal Data provided in a Valid Request to verify your identity and complete your request.
We will work to respond to your Valid Request within 60 days of receipt. We will not charge you a fee for making a Valid Request unless your Valid Request(s) is excessive, repetitive or manifestly unfounded. If we determine that your Valid Request warrants a fee, we will notify you of the fee and explain that decision before completing your request.

For all such requests, please indicate “CA Shine the Light” in the subject field of your request. You must also include your full name, date of birth, last four numbers of your social security number, email address, street address, city, state and zip code, so we can identify your information, if any, held by us.

We Will Not Discriminate Against You for Exercising Your Rights Under the CCPA: We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights under the CCPA. We will not deny you our goods or services, charge you different prices or rates, or provide you a lower quality of goods and services if you exercise your rights under the CCPA. However, we may offer different tiers of our Services as allowed by applicable data privacy laws (including the CCPA) with varying prices, rates or levels of quality of the goods or services you receive related to the value of Personal Data that we receive from you.
Personal Data Sales Opt-Out and Opt-In: Under some state laws, including the CCPA, sharing your data through third party Cookies for online advertising may be considered a “sale” of information. As described in the “Tracking Tools, Advertising and Opt-Out” section above, we may have incorporated Cookies from certain third parties into our Services. These Cookies allow those third parties to receive information about your activity on our Services that is associated with your browser or device. Those third parties may use that data to serve you relevant ads on our Services or on other websites you visit. Except for these sales through third party Cookies, we don’t sell your Personal Data. You can opt out of these sales by following the instructions in this section.
We may sell your Personal Data to the following third parties: ad networks, marketing providers, legal support services, investigative agencies, social media networks and consumer information agencies.
You have the right to opt-out of the sale of your Personal Data. You can exercise this right by clicking on the “Do Not Sell My Personal Information” at the bottom of our website and changing your Cookie preferences.
Once you have submitted an opt-out request, we will not ask you to reauthorize the sale of your Personal Data for at least 12 months.
To our knowledge, we do not sell the Personal Data of minors under 18 years of age. If you believe that we may have inadvertently collected or sold such information, please contact us immediately so we can take appropriate action. For more information on Personal Data of minors, see the section above titled “Personal Data of Children”.
Other State Law Privacy Rights
Nevada Resident Rights: If you are a resident of Nevada, you have the right to opt-out of the sale of certain Personal Data to third parties who intend to license or sell that Personal Data. You can exercise this right by contacting us at privacy@Socialprofiler.com with the subject line “Nevada Do Not Sell Request” and providing us with your name and the email address associated with your account. Please note that we do not currently sell your Personal Data as sales are defined in Nevada Revised Statutes Chapter 603A.
Colorado, Connecticut or Virginia Resident Rights: You have the right to appeal a decision denying your privacy request. You may request an appeal of such a decision by contacting Socialprofiler at privacy@socialprofiler.com and providing the state you are writing from. Please include any documentation you may have regarding the matter you are appealing. In the event your appeal is denied, your jurisdiction may allow you to file a complaint with your state Attorney General’s Office regarding your concerns with the result of your appeal request. Privacy Act Systems of Records
When Socialprofiler operates a system of records subject to the Privacy Act of 1974 or comparable U.S. government agency regulations, including any use of information contained in such a system of records, our use and disclosure of that information (“Privacy Act Information”) is subject to the applicable Systems of Records Notice and applicable agency regulations, which control to whatever extent they may conflict with this Policy. Socialprofiler employees who create, receive or otherwise handle Privacy Act Information are required to undergo initial and annual Privacy Act training as a condition of their access to the information. Socialprofiler prohibits any unauthorized use of a system of records or unauthorized disclosure, access, handling, or use of Privacy Act Information. Any person can report a suspected or confirmed breach of Privacy Act Information or the unauthorized disclosure, access, handling, or use of Privacy Act Information to Socialprofiler using the contact information provided at the end of this Privacy Policy.
Use of Personal Data by Third Parties
This Privacy Policy does not cover the use of Personal Data by any third parties that you submit your information to or who provides your information to us. We aren’t responsible for any third parties’ privacy policies and/or practices. To learn more about how these third-party data sources treat your Personal Data, you should reference the privacy terms of those sources.
Prohibited Jurisdictions
